What is the PTO?

The purpose of this organization is to promote a relationship between Limestone Creek Elementary School, the students, the parents/legal guardians and the community, by supporting the school’s activities and programs through financial and voluntary efforts.

All Cougar families are automatically members of the LCE PTO. We welcome you all and encourage you to participate as much as you can. LCE has an amazing legacy of strong parent and community support.

What does PTO do?

Events

Some of the typical events that PTO sponsors:

  • Welcome Back Social

  • Family Movie Nights

  • Walkathon

  • Cookies & Cocoa for Teachers

  • Holiday Shop

  • Spring Fling

  • 5th Grade Carnival

  • Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

  • Volunteer and Business Partner Breakfast

Fundraising

The fundraising efforts of the PTO and the LCE Community as whole, help fund things like:

  • Four part-time school employees

  • Student game room

  • The Marine Science program

  • The new electronic marquee

  • Additional funding for classroom supplies, resources, and projects.

  • School murals

  • Shade for playgrounds

  • Landscaping

  • Water Bottle fill stations and maintenance

  • …and more!

Cougar Shop

The PTO runs the Cougar Shop, which is an online store where LCE students can purchase uniform shirts and other LCE goodies. We run this store as a fundraising effort and as a service to cougar families. Thank you for your support.
